YOU STILL HAVE TIME
Have you ever wondered, knowing what I know now, whether I would have made the same choices? Would you have chosen the same friends, attended the same schools, lived in the same neighborhood, married the same person, or pursued the same career?
Some would answer with an enthusiastic "yes," grateful for both the joys and the lessons. Others might quietly whisper, "No," remembering choices that brought heartache, missed opportunities, or lingering regrets.
We learn that life is filled with crossroads. Every day, we face decisions that shape our future. One path leads us closer to God; the other to self-reliance. Looking back, most of us can identify moments when a single choice would have changed the course of our lives.
Yet God does not leave us without guidance even when we make wrong choices. Proverbs 3:5-6 offers timeless wisdom: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." God sees the end long before we take our first step. When we trust Him, He directs us away from needless regret and toward lasting peace.
The Bible also gives a sober warning about repeating the same mistakes. Proverbs 26:11: "fools repeat their folly." One mistake need not define a lifetime, but repeating the same mistakes hardens the heart and steals the joy God intends for us.
None of us can rewrite yesterday, but every one of us can surrender our life to Him today. God's grace is greater than any failure, and His mercy gives us fresh beginnings.
Christ invites you, beginning today, to choose His path. The best decisions are the ones we choose to make with Him today. A life guided by Christ is a life that finishes with peace instead of regret.
